US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean R Thompson, has said that tech ties between Nepal and the United States have expanded in recent years. Speaking at the launch of the Kathmandu office of US-based tech company Veel and the unveiling of its latest products in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Thompson said, companies like Veel are demonstrating how Nepals growing tech ecosystem is presenting meaningful opportunities for US firms to enhance their core offerings while simultaneously supporting Nepals private sector-driven economic growth. Together, we are unlocking new opportunities for both nations, Thompson said.
