A word from the founder
"We believe in building with love. If you're passionate about the product, you'll care for it deeply and make it thrive. That passion is what defines our culture."
— Dileep Dhakal · Founder & CEO, Veel
The engineer who left Apple to fix something that wasn't his problem, until it was.
A product builder, entrepreneur, and technology leader with over 14 years of experience spanning consumer technology, AI, and product innovation. Having contributed to global organizations including Apple, Walmart, and ventures backed by Google AI, he has spent his career building products that simplify complex problems and create meaningful user experiences.
Driven by a belief that technology should empower people rather than replace them, he founded Veel to reimagine how creators and businesses connect, collaborate, and grow together in the modern digital economy.
He walked away from Silicon Valley, moved back to Nepal, hired over 100 Nepali builders, and created Veel. Today, he leads Veel's vision of building the world's most trusted platform for authentic creator marketing. A platform that handles everything from creator matching and briefs to contracts, payments, distribution, and analytics. No agency needed. No duct tape required.
Idea that Started 30,000 Feet Above Ground
Veel began with a simple observation. As the creator economy grew rapidly, the systems supporting it remained fragmented. Brands struggled to discover the right creators, creators struggled to find consistent opportunities, and both sides spent too much time navigating disconnected tools, processes, and workflows.
What started as an idea sketched during a flight evolved into a vision: creating a platform that removes complexity and enables authentic collaboration at scale.
Today, that vision powers a growing global community of creators and businesses working together to create authentic impact.
"I didn't build Veel because I saw a market gap. I built it because I couldn't unsee the problem and nobody else seemed to be solving it the right way."
— Dileep Dhakal
A $250 billion industry,
held together with
DMs and spreadsheets.
The problem wasn't awareness. Everyone knew it was broken. Nobody was fixing it right.
Built in Nepal.
Used everywhere.
Nepal's first product to operate at global scale. And it's only just getting started.
From one conversation to half a million creators.
The chapters, the pivots, and the moments that made Veel what it is today.
The beginning
The resignation letter nobody expected
Dileep leaves Silicon Valley. Friends thought it was a sabbatical. It wasn't.
Early days
100 Nepali builders. Zero excuses.
Back in Kathmandu, Dileep begins hiring and building what most said couldn't be done from Nepal.
First launch
"Brief to banger in days, not weeks"
Veel's first public product ships. The creator workflow that was broken gets its first real fix.
Breakout
450+ brands walk in. Agencies walk out.
Word spreads through DTC communities. Brands discover what it feels like when the workflow actually works.
Global scale
Nepal to 121+ countries
Veel becomes Nepal's first product operating at global scale. 550,000+ creators. 450+ brands. Six continents.
Now
It's only just getting started.
New products. New markets. The same conviction that started this whole thing.
From his desk, to your heart.

To you, whoever you are reading this,
I didn't build Veel because I love software.I built it because I spent years watching creators and businesses struggle with systems that were never designed for them.
I saw talented creators pouring their hearts into content while chasing opportunities through endless emails and DMs. I saw founders and marketing teams spending more time managing spreadsheets, contracts, and workflows than building their brands. I saw an industry growing rapidly, but the infrastructure behind it struggling to keep up.
It felt unnecessarily complicated. I believed there had to be a better way. So I moved back to Nepal, hired the sharpest team I could find, and built the thing I wished existed. Not for enterprise clients with unlimited budgets. But for founders and creators who deserved better.
Building Veel has been the most challenging and rewarding journey of my life. Every creator who lands an opportunity, every business that discovers the right partner, and every meaningful collaboration that happens through our platform reinforces why we started. Today, Veel supports more than 550,000 creators and 450+ businesses across 121 countries, proving that world-class products can be built from anywhere when they're built with purpose and passion.
If you're a creator looking for your next opportunity, a business looking to build genuine connections with your audience, or simply someone who believes the internet deserves more authentic stories -
Welcome.
You're exactly who we built Veel for.
